Making Your Own Plaid Easy As 1 2 3

Do you like the plaid I posted below, you can make your own plaid too by using Gimp software, but with G'MIC (GREYC's Magic Image Converter) plug in. So, where you can get this plug in and how to install it, please refer to Download G'MIC. After you had success install it, then you need to create a custom filter for your ".gmic" file. you will need the tutorial on how to save "gmic" at Application Data (For Windows) in your computer. Please refer to Zonderr's tutorial. Below photo is where I save my gmic file:

Now it is the time to start your lesson on making your own plaid with just an image on hand, what ever image you got, a photo you take yourself. Here I use my Lunar new year greeting card to make this pink plaid. Visit

Learn To Make Ladybug

I just make my own ladybug yesterday midnight, I can not sleep yesterday around nearly 12 am and I had been turn and turn over on the bed for around one hour and I decide to stand up and sit in front of my computer and start to make my own ladybug that i had bookmark this page for one or two month, because I had no time to take a look of it. Now I can open it and start my lesson to learn how to make my own ladybug. I learn it from

GIMP Tutorial: Make Your Own Ladybug *Beginners*.

You can check it out yourself if you want to make your own ladybug too. Below is my result:

plum flower | branches

This two item I finished yesterday night, I make plum flower and branches. I use a con shape then duplicate them and group them together to make a flower shape, then color it with gradient. For making my own branches, I use path tool to create a line I want, after that stroke the line first, then go to filter > Distort > polat coordinates,  and filter > Distort > whirls and pinch, I use this two option playing with them until you get what you want. This lesson I learn it from Gimp-Tutorials' Create a Surreal Piece of Art. Below photo is my result.
